I used to oil paint oceans like this, that is before I lost my heart....but I am back and ready to paint these again. Thanks for inspiring me with this pic!
On the suggestion page of another artwork, I glance at a photo of waves, I hover over it, hold my breath - for what I've been waiting for my entire life, and find to my utter astonishment that it's not a photo at all, but in Traditional art. This is beyond incredible. I - ever since I saw the artwork of painted crashing waves on my 'Voyage of the Dawntreadder' book by C.S. Lewis when I was little, have been searching and searching for traditional art that exists to match it, I've wanted to create it myself but never known completely how. I am utterly transfixed by your command of these waves that have sprung to life beneath your brush and expertise. This is incredibly inspiring. Thank you x {and thank you for sharing this so we can all see it and share in the enjoyment and experience of it's beauty}
